இந்தியாவின் தேசிய உணவு எது?

இந்தியாவின் தேசிய உணவாக கிச்சடி முன்னெடுக்கபட உள்ளது என படித்தேன்.

இந்தியாவின் தேசிய உணவு என்றால் அது மட்டன் பிரியாணிதான்.

ராமாயணம் அயோத்தியாகாண்டத்தில் சீதை காட்டுக்கு போகையில் கங்கை நதியை வணங்கி பத்திரமாக திரும்பி வந்தால் கங்கைநதிக்கு மதுவும், மாமிசம் உள்ள ஜெல்லி அரிசியை (அதாவது மட்டன் பிரியாணி) படைப்பதாக வேண்டுகிறாள்.

இன்று இதை படித்து நாம் டென்சன் ஆனாலும் நம் பாரம்பரிய ஆன்மிகம் என்பது சாமிக்கு சாராயமும், இறைச்சியும் படைப்பதுதான்.

இறைச்சி என்பது தெய்வங்களின் உணவு.ரிஷிகள் முனிவர்களின் உணவு...இதை சொல்வது நான் அல்ல, ஸ்வாமி விவேகானந்தர்

மேற்கே அனைவரும் பைத்தியமாக இருப்பது இந்திய பட்டர் சிக்கன் மசாலா, சிக்கன் பிரியாணி மற்றும் மட்டன் பிரியாணிக்கே.

கிச்சடியை யாரும் சீந்துவது கூட கிடையாது.

அதனால் மட்டன் பிரியாணியை தேசிய உணவாக முன்னெடுத்தால் நிஜமாகவே இந்திய உணவுகள் வெளிநாடுகளில் சிறப்பு பெறும்.

இவற்றைச்  சைவ / அசைவ இருவகையிலும் செய்யலாம்; எதைச் சேர்ப்பது என்ற கற்பனைக்கு எல்லை இல்லை. 

அமெரிக்காவில் சிற்றுண்டிக்கடை துவக்கினால் வடஇந்திய+தென்னிந்திய வழித்தோன்றல்கள் யாவருமே உண்ணக்கூடிய உணவு வகைகள் இவை. 

பிற நாட்டவர்களும்  'இண்டியன்  ஸ்பைசி ரைஸ்'(indian spicy rice),   'ஸ்டஃப்ட் கறி பஃப்ஸ்' (stuffed curry puffs) என்று சாப்பிட்டு விடுவார்கள்.

அது மிக தொன்மையான அரபு உணவுதான்...இந்தியாவுக்கு வணிகம், படையெடுப்பு மூலம் வந்தது.

இந்தியாவுக்கு தேசிய மாெழி இருப்பதைப் பாேன்றது.
ஒரு வேளை ஒரே இந்தியா என்ற ஆட்சியாளர்கள்,
முடிவு செய்வார்கள் என்றே எண்ணுகிறேன்.

True Mr selvan. If i remember rightly sita offers meat of varaha-pig, deer to ravan who posed as a sanyasi brahmin,(--- Dwija-this resulted in a huge argument between me and my Sanskrit teacher, this may be i would discuss separately..)

So meat including cow and calves are not exempt from brahmins food. Yajnawalkya smriti, which i repeatedly said was more widely used than manudharma, talks of tender calf-food to brahmins by yajaman..

True, Veda and smritis also talks against cow killing and punishment /paap for cow killing. Thus the idea is not to kill stray or private cows but to farm them properly for milk, beef, hide etc

We all know how DN jha, the famous historian was hounded for almost 3 years by bjp government and his book was banned by courts across India, and finally revoked when UPA-1 came to power. This also showed how courts never apply mind while accepting state solicitors' argument of Hindu sentiments, public order etc. I started believing courts do as government in power says.

( the argument was as ravan was called dwija, a Brahman, identified by his பூணூல், sacred thread, he cannot be a sanyasi. A sanyasi discards that also..)
