I was chairman when Dr.Baldevraj  was vice-chairman of NDT Society of India,Kalpakkam chapter.I chitchatted with Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam in Chennai airport in around 1977.Thiru S;Jayabarathan{Canada} is my close friend and batch mate in Training School 1st batch 1957.He is writing articles on science subjects in TAMIL perhaps more than anybody else.I am forwarding a few of them to you,They will be useful to you in your efforts to write on Nuclear Energy in TAMIL.

I join with all in greeting Happy Deepavali. I take this opportunity to inform you all that as Adviser, Dr. H.J. Bhabha Day (2019) Celebrations by National Green Corps (NGC) Chennai and Cuddalore Districts that request by me on behalf of NGC, Chennai and Cuddalore to Director, IGCAR has been approved by Director, IGCAR. Accordingly, these two NGCs are on technical visit to IGCAR, Kalpakkam on 30th October, 2019, 110th birthday of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, Father of Indian Atomic Energy Programme.

It so coincided that my work on translating two books of Prof. (Late) Bernard Leonard Cohen, Department of Physics, Pittsburg University, USA into Tamil is bringing its fruitful results now. Two books translated into Tamil are (1) Before It's Too Late - A Scientist's Case for Nuclear Energy and (2) The Nuclear Energy Option. Of these two translations, translation of "The Nuclear Energy Option" has come to publication stage and the first copy of the first edition will be informally be handed over to Director, IGCAR when I shall be with above mentioned NGC members and one copy will be given to library, IGCAR. I share this happiness with you all on the eve of Deepavali. I would be thankful to our association and its members if any suggestion to release the copies of first edition of Tamil translation of "The Nuclear Energy Option" in a suitable formal function. Publisher of the Tamil translation is M/s. Yes Dee Publishing Pvt. Ltd., Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai.
