--Friends on Vallamai,During the past 11 months I could not put up articles on my Tamil website dogratamil.comNow, when I decided to work on the website again and possibly give it a wider scope by inviting articles from others, I find a problem with the e-kalappai font I have been using to type into my website. The problem is that the Shift Key does not work. Earlier, for instance a key without the Shift would print the letter and with Shift it would add a 'u' sound. Now, whether you use the Shift or don't use it, it prints only the letter. However, if you press the Caps Lock then it works just like the Shift key. This is big trouble and I am not able to write for my site. I use the Bamini typeface, because the keyboard for this typeface in Unicode matches with the keyboard for the New Kannan Text font. This makes it possible for me to use the e-kalappai unicode for typing into the website and using New Kannan Text for typing into software like FoxPro or PhotoShop and other Adobe software that does not accept Unicode. The e-kalappai Unicode and the New Kannan Text Ansi was working very smoothly for me, but now my work is halted.Does anyone have a solution? Do you know any way by which the Shift key in e-kalappai unicode could be brought to life again? Thanks and regards,Dogra
