ரோஜா முத்தையா ஆராய்ச்சி நூலகம் (RMRL) ஒரு நூலகம், காப்பகம், அருங்காட்சியகம் மற்றும் ஆய்வு மையங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது. 1994-ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிறுவப்பட்ட நூலகத்தில் 5,00,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட புத்தகங்கள் சேமிக்கப்பட்டு பாதுகாக்கப்படுகின்றன. 30 இலட்சம் பக்கம் மற்றும் படங்களை இந்நூலகம் மின்மயமாக்கி பாதுகாத்துள்ளது. மேலும், இது ஒரு மின்நூலகத்தை உருவாக்கி உலகத்தமிழர்களையும் தமிழ்நூல்களையும் இணைக்கும் பாலமாய் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.

தத்தெடுக்கப்படும் நூல், உயர்தரத்தில் எண்ணிமப்படுத்தப்பட்டு, காகிதத்தில் உள்ள அமிலத்தன்மை நீக்கப்பட்டு, தேவையிருப்பின் சிதிலமடைந்த காகிதங்களை ஜப்பானிய இழை காகிதம் கொண்டு வலுபடுத்தி, தூசி படிவதைத் தடுக்க ஒரு அமிலத்தன்மை அற்ற காகித உறையில் வைத்து பாதுகாக்கப்படும்.

Established in 1994, it houses an extraordinary collection of over 500,000 items representing the richness of Tamil heritage and civilization. To date, RMRL has digitally preserved more than 3 million pages and images, and continues to serve as a vital bridge connecting Tamils across the globe with our invaluable literary legacy.
One of the hallmark initiatives of RMRL is the “Adopt a Book” program, which allows individuals and organizations to directly contribute to the preservation of rare and precious Tamil works.
The Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam is proud to partner with RMRL in this noble endeavor, offering our community the opportunity to take part in safeguarding the treasures of Tamil literature for generations to come.
About the Adopt a Book Program
Through this initiative, patrons can sponsor the preservation of books of their choice.
Adoption Cost: ₹8,000 (approx. per book)
Who Can Participate: Individuals, families, and organizations are all welcome
Options: Adopt one or multiple books, or choose to adopt one book every month
Each adopted book will undergo professional preservation, including:
High-quality digitization
De-acidification to prevent deterioration
Reinforcement with Japanese tissue paper for fragile pages
Protective storage in acid-free covers to safeguard against dust and deterioration
