மலை முகட்டில் இருந்து வழியும்
அருவியின் சலசலப்பை ஒட்டு கேட்பவை
அடிவாரத்தில் மறைந்து நிற்கும் மலர்ச்செடிகள்



 போரால் சிதிலமடைந்த வீட்டில் இருந்து
வெளியுலகை ஏக்கமாய் பார்க்கும் கண்கள்
அந்த ஜன்னல்கள்



 அந்த மாநகரின் சாலை சந்திப்பு
சிக்னலை மட்டுமே வெறித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தோரில்
ஒருவர்கூட பார்க்கவில்லை வானவில்லை



 ஆள் அரவமற்ற பேருந்து நிலையம்
ஊளையிடும் ஒற்றை நாய்
பழைய நினைவுகளோடு அவன்



தொடர் வண்டி நிலைய எதிர் நடைமேடையில்
கல்லூரி கால நண்பன்
கூப்பிட வாய்திறந்தபோது தட தடத்து சென்றது ரயில்



 எனக்கு அறிமுகம் இல்லாத அந்தச்சிறுமி
பெயர் அறியா இந்த மலர்களை
பறிப்பது யாருக்காக



 பக்கத்து அறையில் இருந்து
பழைய மின்விசிறி சுழலும் ஓசை

கவிதை சிறப்பு.
இருந்தும் ஒரு இடிப்பு.

"மலை முகட்டில் இருந்து வழியும்
அருவியின் சலசலப்பை ஒட்டு கேட்பவை

அடிவாரத்தில் மறைந்து நிற்கும் மலர்ச்செடிகள்"

பின்வரும் வரிகள், அதே சிந்தனை ஆனால் எனது கருத்து ஏற்றப்பட்டது.

அருவி விழும், வழியாது.
வழியும் அருவிக்கு சலசலப்பு இருக்காது.
சலசலப்பு இருந்தால் அருவி விழுகிறது என்றே பொருள்.
வழிதல் இருந்தால் அருவி வழிகிறது என்றே பொருள்.
மறைந்து நிற்கும் மலர்ச்செடிகளும் கேட்கவே ஆர்பரிக்கின்றது அருவி,
சலசலப்பை உண்டாக்கிறது.

கற்பனை தான் கவிதை என்பவர் பலர்,
அறிவியதான் கவிதை என்பவர் சிலர்.

பலரா...
சிலரா..

என்பதுதான் கவிஞனின் பார்வை.

வள்ளுவரின் கவிகள் இன்றும் வாழ்கின்றது; காரணம் அதில் ஏற்றப்பட்ட அறிவியல் ஆகும்.

வழிவதெல்லாம் விழவேண்டிய நியதி இல்லை. 
வள்ளுவரின் படைப்பு வெற்றிக்குக் காரணம் அவர் அளவோடு கலந்திருக்கும் கற்பனை. அறிவியல் அன்று.

அண்டத் தலைவனை, ஆதி முதல்வனைத்
தொண்டன் வணங்கித் துணிகின்றேன் ! – பண்டைமுதல்
குற்றாலத் தேனருவி கொட்டுவதை நானெழுத
வற்றாத் தமிழூட்ட வா !

கற்றேன் கடுகளவு ! கற்க உலகளவு !
ஒற்றைப் பிறப்பெனக்கு ஒவ்வாது ! – முற்றிலும்
தாரணியைக் காணத் தருணம் கிடைப்பதில்லை !
ஓரளவு தேறிடவே ஓது !

குற்றால அருவி எப்படி உள்ளது என்றொரு பெருங் கவிதை புனைவதை விட, அது எப்படி இருக்க வில்லை என்றும் நான் சொல்ல விழைகிறேன். அப்போதுதான் அதன் முழுத் தோற்றத்தை நாம் விழுமையுடன் காண முடிகிறது.

குற்றாலச் சிற்றருவி !
குதித்தோடும் தேனருவி !
வற்றி விடும் நீரருவி !
வான்தொடும் கானருவி !

குற்றாலம் வெண்ணருவி !
கொட்டுகின்ற தண்ணருவி!
சிற்றாறுக் குன்றருவி !
சிரித்தோடும் பொன்னருவி !

நயாகரா அருவி !

புவியிலே பேரருவி !
பூத உடல் நீரருவி !
கவிழ்ந்து விழும் கீழருவி !
கழுத்தொடிக்கும் பேயருவி !

முற்றிலும் மண்ணருவி !
முதலிரவுப் பெண்ணருவி !
குற்றாலம் விண்ணருவி !
குறைவாகும் சின்னருவி !

தோற்றம் கீழுனக்கு ! வானத்
தோரணம் ஏதுனக்கு ?
போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்தாலும் சேரும்
நாற்றச் சாக்கடைதான் !

குற்றால அருவி !

குற்றாலம் குளியருவி !
குடிமக்கள் தேனருவி !
நெற்றி நிமிர் மேலருவி !
நெளிதோடும் கானருவி !

குரங்காடும் நீரருவி !
கூடு கட்டும் ஊர்க்குருவி !
மரமாடும் சீரருவி !
மானோடும் ஓரருவி !

குற்றாலம் சிற்றருவி ! மழைக்
குன்றின் வெற்றருவி !
நயாகரா பேரருவி !
நல்வணிகர் பேருதவி !

குற்றால அருவி !

எளியவர் கண்டு களிக்கலாம் !
எல்லாரும் இனிதாய்க் குளிக்கலாம் !
துர்நாற்றம் இல்லா நீரது !
தூய்மை யான  ஆறது !

குற்றாலச் சூழ் வெளியே
குலவி வரும் பூவாடை !
நயாகரா நதி வழியே
நாற்ற முள்ள தூவாடை  !

நயாகரா அருவி !

ஆறாக ஓடி வரும் !
ஆத்திரமாய்ப் பாய்ந்து விழும் !
மாறாகத் தவ்வுது !
மண்ணைப் போய்க் கவ்வுது !

குரங்கில்லை ! குன்றில்லை !
மரமில்லை ! மானில்லை !
இயற்கை வனப்பழியும் ! எங்கும்
செயற்கை மினுக்குயரும் !

ஒருநதி இடையில் பிரியுது !
இருநீர் வீழ்ச்சியாய்த் தெரியுது !
பிரமிப் பான காட்சிதான் !
பேரிடி கேட்கும் மூச்சிதான் !

குற்றால அருவி !

வெள்ளிக் கதிர் எழுமருவி !
வேகமாய் விழுமருவி !
துள்ளி வரும் நீரருவி !
தூங்கி விடும் ஓரருவி !

ஆன்மீக நாட்டருவி !
ஆடிவரும் காட்டருவி !
நான் விழையும் நீரருவி
நாதம் எழும் சீரருவி !

குற்றாலத் தேனருவி
மேலிருந்து  குதிக்குது !
குபேரப் பேரருவி நழுவிக்
கீழிருந்து  கொட்டுது

நயாகரா அருவி !

வாணிபச் சந்தை அது !
வஞ்சிப்போர் மந்தை அது !
தோணியிலே சென்றாலும்
துட்டுத்தான் கரையுதடா !

காசிருந்தால் நீர்வீழ்ச்சி !
காசுரிக்க ஓர்சூழ்ச்சி !
காசிருந்தால் சூதாட்டம் !
காசிழந்தால் போராட்டம் !

பகலிரவாய் நீர் பாயும் !
பார்த்தாலே குடல் சாயும் !
மகத்தான நீர்வீழ்ச்சி !
மாறான கண்காட்சி !

மின்சக்தி உருவாக்கும் !
மின்வெளிச்சம் நிற மூட்டும் !
வானூர்தி வட்டமிட்டு
வானிருந்து நதி காட்டும் !

குற்றால அருவி !

பசுமை மரமுண்டு !
பாடும் குயிலுண்டு !
அசையும் இலையுண்டு !
அத்தனைக்கும் உயிருண்டு !

பட்டப் பகலில் பரிதி ஒளி !
பறவை பாடும் பண்ணின் ஒலி !
எட்டும் இரவில் நிலவின் வெளி !
என்றும் மாறா வண்ண ஒளி !

நயாகரா அருவி !

நயாகரா நீர்வீழ்ச்சி
நாணயப் படக்காட்சி !
உயிரில்லை ! உணர்வில்லை !
ஒப்பனையாய்க் கவர்ந்தாலும் !

வான வில்லாய் நீர்வீழ்ச்சி
மாறிவிடும் நிறக்காட்சி !
வீணாகும் மின்சக்தி  !
வேடிக்கை பின்புத்தி  !

நயாகரா காதலர்க்கு !
நாடிவரும் வாணிபர்க்கு !
வயாகரா மானிடர்க்கு !
வாடிக்கை மாதருக்கு !

சிற்றருவியா ? பேரருவியா ?

டாலர் வாழும் நயாகாரா !
டாலர் ஆளும் நயாகரா !
டாலர் கூடும் நயாகரா !
டாலர் நாடும் நயாகரா !

குபேரச் சாக்கடை முங்கிக்
குளிப்பது யார் தற்காலம் ?

உவமையில் கற்பனை இல்லயைே. தாங்கள் அனுப்பிய மூன்று குறள்களும் உண்மதைானே!

பீலிபெய் சாகாடும் அச்சிறும் அப்பண்டஞ்
சால மிகுத்துப் பெயின்.

மு.வ உரை:
மயிலிறகு ஏற்றிய வண்டியே ஆனாலும் , அந்த பண்டமும் (அளவோடு ஏற்றாமல்) அளவு கடந்து மிகுதியாக ஏற்றினால் அச்சு முறியும்.

கான முயலெய்த அம்பினில் யானை
பிழைத்தவேல் ஏந்தல் இனிது.

மு.வ உரை:
காட்டில் ஓடுகின்ற முயலை நோக்கி குறிதவறாமல் எய்த அம்பை ஏந்துதலைவிட, வெட்ட வெளியில் நின்ற யானை மேல் எறிந்து தவறிய வேலை ஏந்துதல் சிறந்தது.

இதில் ஒன்றும் கற்பனை இருக்கிற மாதிரி இல்லயைே!

தொட்டனைத் தூறும் மணற்கேணி மாந்தர்க்குக்
கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு.

மு.வ உரை:
மணலில் உள்ள கேணியில் தோண்டிய அளவிற்க்கு நீர் ஊறும், அதுபோல் மக்களின் கற்றக் கல்வியின் அளவிற்கு அறிவு ஊறும்.

கற்பனை என்றால் அதில்  மிகைப்படுத்துதலும் கைகோர்த்துவிடும். 
இவை போன்ற உண்மைக்கு/இயல்புக்கு/இயற்கைக்குச்  சவால் விடும் கருத்துகளை  வள்ளுவர் இன்பத்துப்பால் பகுதிக்கு ஒதுக்கி வைத்துவிட்டார் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

சரியாகப் புரிந்து கொள்ள முயலுங்கள். 
இது இலக்கியக் கொள்கை தொடர்பானது.
ஒவ்வொரு உவமையும் அளவான கற்பனைத் திறனால் உருவாவதாகும் என்பதே உண்மை. 
கற்பனைத் திறன் இல்லாதவரால் உவமையைப் 
படைக்க இயலாது. 
ஒரு உவமையைப் படைக்க கவிஞன் ஒப்புமைப் படுத்திப் பார்த்தாக வேண்டும். 
ஒப்புமைப்படுத்தும் பொருள்  கண்முன் இல்லையெனினும் மனக்கண்ணில் கொண்டுவந்து ஒத்த தன்மைகளை எடுத்துக் காட்டினால் / புரிய வைத்தால் மட்டுமே அவ்விடத்தில் உவமை இடம் பெற இயலும். 
இன்னும் புரியவில்லை எனில் இலக்கியக் கொள்கைகள் பற்றிய நூல்களைப் படித்துப் பாருங்கள்.
தொடர்வண்டியில் இவ்வளவுதான் தட்ட முடிகிறது.

உண்மை தான் இசையினியன் .
கற்பனை அவரவர் விருப்பம்தான் .
அந்தக் கற்பனைக்கும் ,உவமைக்கும்  உள்ள தொடர்பு அதைப் பாடமாகப் படித்ததனால் தான் புரிந்தது.
பாடப்படும் பொருளை இல்லாத பொருளுடன் ஒப்பிட்டுக் கற்பனை செய்தால் அது இல்பொருள் உவமை அணியாகி விடும் .
பாடப்படும் பொருளை மற்றொன்றுடன்  ஒப்பிடும் போது அதீதமாகக் கற்பனை செய்தால் அது உயர்வு நவிற்சி ஆகிவிடும்.
பாடப்படும் பொருளை இன்னொன்றுடன் ஒப்பிடும் போது அவற்றிடையிலுள்ள வேற்றுமைக்குச் சிறப்பிடம் கொடுத்தால் அது வேற்றுமை அணி ஆகிவிடும்.
பாடப்படும் பொருளை இன்னொன்றுடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது புலவன் தன் சொந்தக்குறிப்பை ஏற்றிப்பாடினால் அது தற்குறிப்பேற்றம் ஆகும். 
கவிதையில் இடம்பெறும் அணிகள் எல்லாமே கற்பனையின் அடிப்படையில் தான் தோன்றுகின்றன.
வள்ளுவர் அதை அளவாக ---உயர்வு நவிற்சி இன்றிப் பாடியிருப்பது தான் சிறப்பு .
