Dear Members

I have used the ocr software with the following pre conditions:

0.1 Lazer printed book with 300 TPI scanned JPEG pages
0.2 No old tamil letters like "RAA", "NAA"

Tested for 25 pages and the mistakes count is 3 to 5 per pages. The
other details are:

SCANNE TIMING: 3 MIN PER PAGE (BOOK STYLE)
OCR TIMING: 50 SEC PER PAGE (BOOK STYLE)
PROOF CORRECTION TIMING: 8 TO 10 MIN PER PAGE

Thanks to Mr. Kannan sir and Suba Madam for their encouragement to do
this project. Special Thanks to Dr.Krishnamoorthi.

Regards

Dear Mr.Sundar,

sounds great.
3-5  spelling mistakes per page is still a significant number. You may need to proof read and go through every word to produce a flawless material. Are you planning to continue OCR or will you focus on scanning only?

Dear Madam

Thanks for your views. I am going to continue with ocr. The reason
is by typing a book it is taking minimum of 45 days per book (apx.250
pages). Then proof reading required. By the software for the same 250
pages 8 to 10 days till proof reading. One day scanning, one day ocr
convertion and 8 days proof reading. So the no of count per month is
3 book with this.

Regards
