12 Year old Indian girl establishes a new world record
Suchetha Satish studying in Indian High School, Dubai, has set a new World Recordof singing the most number of languages in one concert.She sang songs in 102 languages in the concert organized by Indian Peoples forum under the patronage of Consulate General of India, Dubai on 25thof January at the Indian Consulate Auditorium. Suchetha started singing at 4:10 PM and finished the last song which was in Hindi at 10:30 PM.She had chosen a patriotic song to end the day in true Indian spirit.The award was adjudicated by World Record Academy, based in USA. Suchetha received the award from their adjudicators from Muhammed Hashmi legal consultants and the Consul General of India, HE Sri Vipul.Amidst thunderous applause Suchetha dedicated the award to the PM of UAE HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and PM of India Shri Narendra Modi and to Indians all over the world and all the people living in UAE of different nationalities. She also urged the youth to take up music or sport to attain a high rather than tobacco, alcohol and drugs.Speaking on the occasion Sri Vipul said that this record is a wonderful gift on the Republic day.
During the concert which lasted for 6 hours and 20 mins , she sang songs in 26 Indian languages 76 foreign languages which included most spoken languages like Mandarin , Spanish, English, Arabic, Portugeseetc and less spoken like Maori, Maithili,Quechua , Kokboroketc
Suchetha is the daughter of Dr T.C Satish , dermatologist in Dubai and SumithaAyilliath and is the sister of Sushant Satish.
