Madam, 

Collection of more than hundred books published in the years of 1890, 1900, 1925  in Sanskrit Grantham English and in Tamil  are the belongings of my respected grandfather Vidwan T K Jagannathachariyar  .26 Books he authored during his life time.

My grandfather published transliteration of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita in English and also in Tamil in 1965. Valmiki ramayanam in Tamil He fought against EV Ramaswamy Naicker anti Brahmin agitation and was imprisoned in 1946 He edited a weekly in English and Tamil "Dharmika HIndu"

Books authored by my grandfather are kept in Chennai. My father Shri J Ramabhadran till he was alive- preserved  them from white ants and insects. They are too valuable.An eye opener for future generations.

I confess that  failed in my responsibility to maintain these books. My family members feel  that these books need attention- are in bad shape. as each page of the book are tearing apart and falling from the binding.   My sons Vijayaraghavan and Venkataraghavan- are born and brought up in Delhi    Myself has been in Delhi for more than 40 years of active journalism.   Each time of my visits to Chennai I-would open the book shelf- and cry before them.

Presently, upkeep of these books by me are difficult. Time has now come for me to propose safety and security of these books. My wish is to scan all of 26 books authored by TKJ. and upload it in a web site named after my grandfather. Of course easy reading  e-book format.  I have done it. You may please visit 


Religious and Hindu cultural books like Bhagwad Gita, Valmiki Ramayanam, Vedanta Desikan and importance of Vaishnavism- Brahminism. works - The Sadadhooshini a literature by Desikan was translated into English and Tamil by my grandfather TKJ
