As I have become a nonagenarian, I thought I must put to good use portion of a large collection of valuable books I have to a public library so the lot can be used effectively by researchers and students.
I assisted the Madras Literary Society Library for this service byu donating over a 1000 (A thousand +) volumes and financially helped them to set up a corner called "Narasiah Niche" where researchers will have access to these books in comfort.
Yesterday in a very simple function the corner was dedicated for this purpose in the hands of Pro(retd) Swaminathan in presence of a small but distinguished gathering
