தஞ்சைப் பெரிய கோயில் கல்வெட்டுகள்-6
தமிழ்நாடு சுற்றுலாத் துறையின் இணையதளத்தில், தஞ்சைப்பெரியகோயிலில் உள்ள கல்வெட்டுகளின் சில படங்கள் அழகுற வெளியிடப்பட்டிருந்தன. கல்வெட்டு எழுத்துகளைச் சிற்பிகள் வடித்ததில் இருந்த அழகும், தெளிவும் கல்லின் சிவப்பு வண்ணப் பின்னணியில் பொலிந்தன. கல்வெட்டு எழுத்துகளில் பயிற்சி இல்லாதவர்கள் கூடப் படங்களைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டே படித்துவிடக்கூடும். ஒரு பன்னிரண்டு ஒளிப்படங்களில் உள்ள எழுத்துப்பொறிப்புகளின் பாடங்களை அவற்றில் உள்ள வரிகளின்படி தந்துள்ளேன். (சற்றே படத்தைப் பெரிதுபடுத்திப் பார்க்க). கண்டும் படித்தும் மகிழ்க:
குறிப்பு: அடைப்புக்குறிக்குள் காட்டப்பட்ட எழுத்துகள் படத்தில் காணப்படா விட்டாலும், கல்வெட்டில் உள்ளவையே. பொருள் எளிதில் விளங்கவேண்டி இங்கே காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளன.
கல்வெட்டுப்படத்தின் பாடம்:
1 ப்பத்து எண்கழஞ்சரையே மூன்று மாவும் கட்டி
2 (ப)து மஞ்சாடிக்கு விலை காசு ஐய்யாயிரம் - வாளி
3 ற்குன்றியும் தைய்த்த முத்து அம்புமுது பாட
4 பிரமும் உட்பட முத்துத் தொண்ணூற்று நாலினா(ல்)
5 (ஆ)க நிறை நூற்று நாற்க்கழஞ்சரையே நாலு
6 யிரத்து ஒரு நூற்றைம்பது ||- ஸ்ரீ சந்தம் ஒன்று
7 .மூன்று மஞ்சாடியும் எட்டு மாவும் மாணிக்கம்
8 (ர)க்த பிந்துவும் காக பிந்துவும் வெந்தனவும் உட்பட
9 ஆக அறுபதினால் நிறை கழஞ்சரை(யே)
குறிப்பு : சிவப்பு வண்ண எழுத்துகள் கிரந்த எழுத்துகள்.
விளக்கம் :
கல்வெட்டு, கோயிலுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட அணிகலன்களின் (திருவாபரணங்கள்) கொடை பற்றிக்கூறுகிறது. குறிப்பாகப், பொன்னாலான அணிகலன்களில் பதிக்கப்பட்ட முத்துக்கள், வயிரம், மாணிக்கம் ஆகியவற்றைப்பற்றிக் கூறுகிறது. இவ்வரிசையில் வெளியிடப்பெற்ற மூன்றாம் கட்டுரையில் குறிப்பிட்டதுபோல், இக்கல்வெட்டிலும் மேன்மையான வயிரம் குறிக்கப்பெறுகிறது. பொறிவு என்பது புள்ளிகளையும், முறிவு என்பது விரிசல்களையும் குறிக்கும். அவ்வகையான புள்ளிகளோ, விரிசல்களோ இல்லாத மேன்மையான வயிரம் என்பதைக் குறிப்பிடும் கல்வெட்டு, சிவப்புப் புள்ளிகளோ, கருப்புப் புள்ளிகளோ இல்லாதன எனக் கூறுகிறது. சிவப்புப் புள்ளிகள் ரக்த பிந்து என்றும், கருப்புப் புள்ளிகள் காகபிந்து என்றும் கூறப்படுகின்றன (வரி : 8).
தொண்ணூற்று நாலு முத்துக்கள் அளிக்கப்பட்ட செய்தியை இக்கல்வெட்டு கூறுகிறது. அம்புமுது என்பது ஒரு வகை முத்தாகும். மொத்த முத்துக்களின் நிறை நூற்று நான்கரை கழஞ்சு மதிப்புடையது. ஸ்ரீசந்தம் என்பது அணிகளின் ஒரு வகையாகலாம் (வரி : 6). அகராதியில் பொருள் கிடைக்கவில்லை. சில இடங்களில் ஸ்ரீ சந்த்ரம் என்னும் சொல் அணிகலன்கள் பற்றிய குறிப்புகளில் காணப்படுவதை வைத்து, நிலா உருவில் அமைந்த ஓர் அணிகலன் என யூகிக்கலாம். வெந்தன என்னும் சொல் (வரி : 8), ஒரு வயிர வகையைக் குறிக்கும். வாளி என்பது ஒரு காதணி (வரி ; 2). இந்தக் காதணியில் முத்துக்கள் பதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கவேண்டும். ஏனெனில், தொடர்ந்து வருகின்ற “தைய்த்த முத்து” என்னும் சொல் அணிகலனில் வைத்துப் பதித்த முத்தினைக் குறிக்கும். முத்துக்கள் கோக்கப்பட்ட அணிகலன்களும், முத்துக்கள் பதிக்கப்பட்ட அணிகலன்களும் என இருவகை அணிகலன்கள் நாமறிந்ததே.
