 இசை இனியன் காட்டும் கேளொலி என்பது கேட்பொலி என்பதை விட சிறக்க உள்ளது 

சிறிதே ஆழ்ந்து நோக்க 'கேட்பு'  என்பது வினைவழி பிறந்த பெயர் ஆகவேண்டும்

எனவே கேட்பும் ஒலியும் என பொருள்கொள்ள உம்மைத்தொகை எனல் வேண்டும்

கேள்வி என்பதுதான் குறளில் காணும் பெயர்ச்சொல்.  எளிதாகவும் உள்ளது நேரடியான சொல்

ஓர்த்தல் என்றால் கேட்டல் என்று பொருள்.

கேட்கப்படும் ஒலிக்கு ஓரி என்று பெயர் வைக்கலாம்.

துனைதல் என்றால் ஓடுதல் / விரைதல் என்று பொருள். உத்தி என்றால் படம்.

ஓடுகின்ற படமான வீடியோவுக்கு துனுத்தி என்று பெயர் வைக்கலாம்.

இரண்டும் வெவ்வேறு பொருள்கள் எனக் கருதுகிறேன்.

காணொளி = வீடியோ

காணொலி = வீடியோ+ஆடியோ = காணொளி + கேட்பொலி.

ஆங்கிலத்தில் இவ்வாறு இரு வார்த்தைகளைச் சேர்ப்பது அதிகம்.

அதன் தாக்கமாக இருக்கலாம். 

ஆனால், தமிழ் மொழியின் இயல்புக்கு முற்றிலும் மாறானது.

புதிய மொழியாக உருவெடுக்கும். ஆங்கில வார்த்தைகள்

வட எழுத்து - பரவலாக உள்ள 5-ம் தமிழ் யூனிகோடில் உள்ளன -

நீக்கித் தமிழ்ச்சட்டை போர்த்தும், ஆங்கிலம் போல

இரு சொற்களை இணைத்து பயன்படுத்தினால் அது புதுபாஷை ஆகும்.

சொல்லின் கடைசியில் தமிழ்த் தாதுவேர் இராது.

அருவி எனும் இருந்தபோதும் சிலரால் புகுத்தப்பட்ட நீர்+வீழ்ச்சி எனும் சொல்லில் இருப்பது போல் இரண்டும் சேர்ந்த நிலையில் காட்டுவது வேறு செய்தி 

அதாவது புதியனவாக ஆங்கிலத்திற்குஇனையாக காட்டவந்த நிலை யில் புதியனவக வந்துள்ள  தனிக்கூட்டுச் சொற்கள்

 

நான் காட்டியது போல்  தொலைக்காட்சியில் ஒலியும் உண்டு அது போல் காணொளியிலும் ஒலியும் வரும்

இல்லாததனை தன் இனம் வழி சேர்ர்த்துக்கொள்ளும் நிலையில் பயனில் வந்துவிட்டன 

60 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் என் தமிழ் இயல் (இலக்கண) ஆசிரியர் காட்டிய சான்று இது  (வட மொழி நீக்கம்)

சோறு உண்டான் என்றால் அதன் கூறுகளாக  சோறும் நீரும் மற்றும் சிலவும் தன் இனம் சார இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும்  என்றார்

நாசா கணேசனார் காட்டியது பிழை பட்டது 

சால மிகுத்துப்பெயின் புனிற்றிளங்கன்று ( பயர் பாக்சுபெட்டி) என்பது போல் ஒரே பண்பு இரட்டித்த நிலை இல்லை இல்லை

அவர் மடல் கருத்து காணொலி-காணோளி / கேளொலி-கேட்பொலி எனும் வேறுபட்டினை பற்றி சரி இல்லை என நேரடி கருத்து வைக்கமல் மடல் நீண்டுள்ள்து

 there is a difference between sound and audio. what is audible is audio (20-20000 hz). sound can be infra sound and ultra sound; what elephants hear and what insects make are sounds , but not audio (for a human being)

that is why oli is sound and ketpoli is (audible sound) audio

Thanks, RNK. காணொலி does not make sense. Sound cannot be seen.

Plus, I know the scholar who proposed Vizhiyam for Video,

it was a retrofitting in the opposite direction of கோழி >> கோடி.

Realizing the problem in doing that between IE and Dravidian,

he withdrew it. There is no eye ("vizhi") in video.

In my view, those type of forming words in Tamil, a direct copy from English,

need to be avoided.
