Running Android apps on Windows PC has become officially available with Windows 11. However, the whole installation process is complicated and tricky even with Windows Subsystem for Android. IObit Uninstaller made it so much easier to install Android apps on Windows 11 PC. Simply drag an APK file onto the APK Installer and it will be installed automatically without any additional steps. Besides, the Android apps you installed can be quickly uninstalled with IObit Uninstaller as well.
"If you need a program that lets you cleanly and completely uninstall applications, fire up IObit Uninstaller. This free utility makes it a breeze to delete apps, including stray files that are often left behind when you use Windows to delete software from your hard drive or SSD. Competing free tools, such as Comodo Programs Manager and Revo Uninstaller, perform similar functions, but IObit Uninstaller bests those rivals with its community-based suggestions and ability to remove annoying Web browser toolbars and plug-ins. In short, if you use a Windows PC, you should download IObit Uninstaller to uninstall applications."
"I have used IObit programs for years with great effect ! For this reason I stay with IObit products.I, in the past have serviced and fixed laptops and mobiles (android) and always leave them, with IObit products installed, and ask them to regularly 'hit the big' C' and tell them it will automatically fix and speed up their laptop/computer/mobile! :)I highly recommend the uninstaller (and the latest beta) as a safe reliable program that shifts stubborn programs! Most importantly, remove 'hidden' coding that the programmer intended to leave, which then brings adverts to re-install again!IObit 'ALL' products are safe' and easy to use' most of all look after your PC's."
"I find IObit uninstaller excellent to use as it has all you could wish for. I love the fact that it uninstalls all the left over fragments. It also has a software updater which reminds you when one of the programs need updating, and the fact that it will uninstall batch programs really makes it a winner. In fact it is basically just what one needs to keep your computer good to go."
"IObit Uninstaller is the best software to remove programs on the computer, it is fast and very effective it does not compare anything with basic uninstaller of windows, it seriously cleans all the rest of the program and so there are no delays in the computer. I have been using it for a few months and I do not know how to live without it, I recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks IObit Uninstaller is fantastic."

Summary: Learn how to use Windows PowerShell to get software installation locations, and to uninstall software from remote computers. Hey, Scripting Guy! We have a dumb application that we have to use at work. The company has released a new version...
yes, I am aware of that, I was hoping if I can get a list of these applications then I can actually remove them using the script but they still not showing up. try install TreeSize or WireShark and see if the code listed will return these application !
I just installed Windows 10 for the first time (clean install). This Windows Print is dated to the day of installation of Windows 10. There is no publisher or version listed. The only option I'm given when selecting it is Uninstall. When I do that, it appears to work except the program is never removed.
So, I removed the "PrintDialog" folder from Windows folder and put it on my desktop temporarily. Then, I refreshed the Ccleaner uninstall list and the "Windows Print" disappears. I don't understand why Ccleaner would be looking in that folder for this?
Hi Team, We need to uninstall netbackup client from Bigfix action script. Netback up is simply uninstalled manually by getting in to control panel and remove it from there. But I need to know how I can make this in an action script which can use the uninstaller from control panel and uninstall it silently without reboot? Please suggest.
ok, Can you provide the error code from the BigFix Client log file which will help to narrow down the issue.
If no error code is reported. I would suggest to create on the Fly batch file and then give a try.
I've just done this for Thunderbird. You can create an install package, but for a .msi file you would use /x afterwards to call uninstall. For .exe files this isn't always consistent, so you can use /u /x etc, or try a third-party tool such as Insted (InstEd It! - InstEd - Make packaging more productive) to find the uninstall switch.
Hi Kevin -
Thank you for this information.
I get page not found when I go through
More info on setting up the Uninstall Software action can be found in this knowledge base article.
Do you know if exist another page where I can found that?
Or do you know the steps to follow?
But you should still be able to copy the executable to that folder on your Lansweeper server, then in the web console go to Configuration -> Asset pages. Halfway down is the Asset Actions sections, you can click the Add Asset action button, give it a name and then put actionpathRemoteUninst.exe smartname in the Action field and click OK. That should show up on asset pages now, on the left under Advanced actions.
Open the MSI file with Orca. (Unfortunately there is no simple download for the orca installer. You can get it by installing the "MSI Tools" of the Windows 10 SDK, and then searching for orca.msi in C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits.)
If the reason of the failure is a custom action which runs on uninstall, and this custom action is conditioned with some properties you can influence upon, you can try to pass the desired value via the command line:
Here YourPackage.msi is a new fixed package, REINSTALL=ALL instructs the msiexec to re-install the product using this new package, and REINSTALLMODE=vomus (the v part of it) will re-cache the MSI package and you'll be able to remove it the normal way afterwards.
I usually just look for in the registry and delete some of the uninstall keys from some of the Products under the Windows installer trees and everything usually works fine and dandy afterwards, although this WOULD leave some stuff lying around like cached installers and possibly tons of other registry keys for each file installed, etc. but its ALWAYS worked for me when developing installers because honestly, who cares if one MSI is left over and cached somewhere? You're using the machine for development anyways, right?
In this case, no error message. It simply froze and when I went to close said program not responding, Upon trying to get in again, it was just a white screen with the menu button at top left hand corner (allowing to resize, etc). It would never go beyond that. But no error message
If I may assume you wish to delete apps in an effort to increase available storage space on a typically space-limited MBA, the following Apple Support documents may help you to identify files that occupy a large amount of space:
As others already noted, non-Apple "cleaning" apps are generally scams that result in abject misery. Anything they claim to do can be performed safely using the tools your Mac already has.
For 3rd party apps I use AppCleaner . It finds the supporting and cache files for the app so you can delete them all. However, take special note of the Warning below. If you have more than one app from the same developer you may not want to use the app.
WARNING: If you use AppCleaner on an app that you have other apps from the same developer, like Adobe, you must be extremely careful checking all checkboxes and deleting. Some for those files may support other apps from the same developer and deleting them can mess them up. Adobe apps is a primary example. I know from experience. For singular apps from a developer it's safe.
In most cases any files left in those folders are small and inert and can be ignored after uninstalling an app you no longer need. Since you have reason to believe a corrupted setting may be causing your tax preparation app to misbehave, deleting them is justified. You are far better off doing that manually through the Finder than relying upon a third party app that has no way to determine which files are associated with the apps in question. They basically guess, and you can do that without their help.
Never install any app that claims to "tune up", "speed up" or "clean up" your Mac. These apps exist for one reason: to separate the unwary and inexperienced user from their hard-earned money. At best they do very little, at worst, they can damage your OS installation and cause far more problems than they "solve".
