Hello,

If you don't know yet, StartuUp America (http://www.startupamericapartnership.org/), is Obama's mission to increase high growth entrepreneurship. In an email exchange, Scott Chase, the CEO asked how the organization can do better outreach to African-Americans.

Do you have any ideas?

Here are some ideas that I have:

1) Highlight successful African-American startup founders on the site

2) Connect directly with African-Americans who are leading the movement to create more start up businesses

3) Bring the message of high growth entrepreneurship to organizations that have always promoted minority entrepreneurship, like the National Urban League and etc.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I would suggest an outreach program to VCs and Angels. When those
groups choose not to fund a company they could point the entrepreneur
to StartUp America.
