Hi all,

I created a time task that works perfectly when I active the task directly from the dashboard (using the play button on the task file itself). However, when I active the same task from the manager, some of the task's features do not work correctly.

Specifically, in each trial of the task (aatask1.js) a background is presented, covering all the screen. Above the background, a first fixation point (O) appears in the middle of the screen, and the participants need to press the “D” key. Then a second fixation appears (+) for 1000ms after which the word “approach” or the word “avoid” appears for 200ms and then a picture of a man appears.

If the trial is “approach”, the participants need to press “E” three times in a row – each press makes the background and the man's picture look bigger.

If the trial is “avoid” the participants need to press “C” three times in a row – each press makes the background and the man's picture look smaller

As I said, the task worked perfectly when it activated directly from the task file.

However, when I run the task from the manager:

  1. The backgrounds do not appear on the whole screen but instead are shown on a small canvas with black borders.
  2. The two fixation points and the words “approach” or “avoid” are not presented (although the task is responding to the key presses)
  3. Only the man picture, but not the background are getting bigger or smaller with the three “E” or “C” keypresses.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
Here is a link to the study files, and I can also share the study with you if it helps.

The play button on the task will run it using minno 0.1 . Your study
is minno 0.3 . That is the reason for the difference.

Thanks!
Any idea what I should change in order that the task will run correctly on minno 0.3 (meaning the same as it runs on minno 0.1)?
