Installing MinnoSuite on DigitalOcean

Hi,

I already created and connected to my droplet on digitalocean's service (covering steps 1 to 4 in this tutorial https://minnojs.github.io/docs/start/server/installation/digitalocean/),

Problem: When running the following command:

wget "https://minnojs.github.io/docsite/installation/basicinstallation/docker-compose.yml"

I get the following answer:

https://minnojs.github.io/docsite/installation/basicinstallation/docker-compose.yml
Resolving minnojs.github.io (minnojs.github.io)... 185.199.110.153, 185.199.109.153, 185.199.111.153, ...
Connecting to minnojs.github.io (minnojs.github.io)|185.199.110.153|:443... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
2023-04-10 01:54:45 ERROR 404: Not Found

Can anyone help me please? Thank you very much in advance!

It looks like that link was not updated when we re-organized our documentation. It should be https://minnojs.github.io/docs/start/server/installation/basicinstallation/docker-compose.yml

Hi,

I've followed the steps as you've described on your DigitalOcean Installation Page, and made sure to use the link you stated above for step 5 (it is still the old link). And when I run step 6, I get the following error message:

parsing /root/docker-compose.yml: yaml: line 44: found character that cannot start any token

A member had the same issue a year ago, but never got a response. Can someone please help me out, so I can complete the installation and connect with the dashboard. Did something happen after you re-organization of the document?

Hi Farnaz,

It appears that the docker version of our server is no longer maintained as closely as it used to.

A simpler solution might fit your needs: running MinnoJS studies using free services such as Github Pages, DataPipe, and the OSF. This post describes how to create an IAT study using this method, but it is suitable for any study coded with Minno.js.
