"Calculate gender Bias"

Hello,

I know this group this mainly for technical issue but I hope you could give me some advice. I am trying to compute the bias(D score) for career/male or career/female, female/family or female/career. Could you please let me know how I can measure for each category? Thank you.

Hi Mayan,

I am using Gender-Career IAT. I see from the result section that D is measured. However, I cannot understand how it is measured. For example, a negative D score(based on the CVS file that was measured automatically) should be for Family/Male, Career/Female but the result says Career/Male,Family/Female. I would be grateful if you could help me with this. Thanks.

Hi Mayan,

I have searched the group and found the recommended D is a good choice. Based on my reading, if a D score is positive it means bias is favoring men/career otherwise female/career. Is that correct?
