I've had my machine (2001) for four years and love to go on long
distance trips.

I just returned from a twelve-day trip to Vancouver B.C.
Circumnavigated Whistler Mountain. Fabulous roads and scenery.

Around here I have a route that takes me to Hastings, past Welch
Village Ski Area, and on towards Wabasha. Then east on MN 60.

I'd love to get several bikes together and ride. For those in or near
the Twin Cities, I always try to make Dulono's Pizza Bike Night -
first Thursday of the month. Usually a very large turnout of bikes
(hundreds) if weather is good.

An all day ride on a weekend would be fun. Perhaps we could be
escorted to some of those great Wisconsin roads?

Good idea,
Yea, a few of us know about "First Thursdays",
in fact Dan Murphy and I both went there for the first time last Thursday!
I saw a couple other VFR's parked there but never saw the owners......

I was there, but I had to leave early so unfortunately we didn't meet up.  I'm starting school again soon so I may not be able to make it to the next first Thursday.  We'll have to try to plan something around then to meet and I'll have to play it by ear.  I would also love to plan some type of ride but unfortunately I think I'd have to keep it somewhat local and short.
