New to this Group

Hi all,

VFR owner ('97 - the best generation :) ) - found this group from the VFRD forum.

I live in Apple Valley and am up for rides - generally shorter as I've got a 2 yo and a 4 month old. Used to live out east and rode the Dragon 3 times (on a previous bike - Kawa Concours).

Hi BLS, and welcome. You are fortunate to have had real riding experience. There are few riding areas that can compare with the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mtns. I suppose it would be tough with a young family, but I hope you'll consider attending Texas-Mac some time in the future. A couple of us are leaving Sunday, May 19, for just that. I'll try to organize something for mid to late June. Perhaps call it the MNVFRS Get Acquainted Ride.
But just because I am now the administrator of the groups website, does not mean others cannot organize rides. I'd encourage members to hook up any time.
I am looking forward to meeting fellow VFR riders. Hope it is an active summer for our newly rejuvenated group.

Hallelujah everyone. It is about time. My oldest machine was finally running Friday. I put 500 miles Fri - Mon. My 60+ yr old body is very sore but my brain is on cloud 10.
