Lets try to plan a gathering...

It looks like we're slowly picking up members. We're up to 10 now. If
you know of anyone else with a VFR in MN please pass on the info. I
was thinking that we can make an attempt at a low key gathering and
ride. Something a few weeks out so we can plan. I was thinking of
something the weekend of September 4th of September 11th. I'm
thinking something in the suburbs of the twin cities since that seems
to be pretty central to where everyone is. (sorry for those of you
from further away)
Give me your feedback on whether a Saturday or Sunday would be better
and if you prefer one or the other weekend. I figured for an initial
get together it could be a pretty low key, meet and greet and some
casual ride. Lets see your ideas...

I believe I can make it on either day on either weekend. The suburbs work for me. I think it's a good idea for a first meeting.

Another idea would be to meet somewhere central at a coffee place (Caribou, Starbucks, or restaurant (Perkins whatever), or The Joint (where the ride begins and ends). Something in the Midway area (tween Mpls & St. Paul). Just a few suggestions.

In the past I have met riders at the Perkins at 901 27th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55406-1102. It is just off I94 at Riverside Ave. Easy access to major highways for maximum flexibility for route choices.

10, and leave at 10:30 for the cruise. We could meet in the Roseville
Area since that seems to be somewhat central to a few of us. Where to
ride though... I'm not too familiar with any riding around the area
or how far anyone is willing to do. Any ideas? Depending on who is
coming we could adjust the meeting to somewhere else. Who would be
available this day and interested in a cruise?

i don't know if i can do that day either - i have my old man's soccer tournament that weekend over in blaine.   but if the first game starts in the afternoon i could do a couple hours starting at 10:30.......
Will keep you posted when i get the tourney schedule.  otherwise What about the following weekend sept 18?
