Dear conservative leaders:

I wanted to make sure you know about this great program that is starting its third year: The Minnesota Excellence in Public Service (MEPS) Series.

The nine-month, monthly series provides leadership and political training to conservative women throughout Minnesota. Yearly, 10 remarkable women leave the series well-equipped to fulfill leadership roles in their careers, their communities and their government, and past graduates have gone onto serve in the Minnesota legislature, governor-appointed boards, host conservative talk radio, run for office, manage campaigns, and grow grassroots programs for Republican women. We are independent of, but in-part supported by, the Republican Party of Minnesota.

The Minnesota Excellence in Public Service (MEPS) Series is currently accepting applications until October 17th for the 2009-2010 class. Perhaps you know somebody in your BPOU or Congressional District that would benefit from this program and would like to recommend? Please pass along this email.

To learn more about the program,  please go to http://www.mnexcellenceseries.com or email Mary Igo, Board Chair, at mi...@mngastro.com. Attached is our application.

ABOUT THE SERIES:

Minnesota’s series, founded by Mary Igo, began in October 2007. There are more than 20 other states with active programs. More than 1,000 women, ranging in ages from 21 to 65, have graduated from the series across the United States.
