Dear fellow republican,
My name is Rick Weible, and I am running for CD3-CO-Chair this Saturday, and I am looking for your support.  After years of serving on the City Council, and as Mayor for the City of St. Bonifacius, I have seen the lack of coordination between the party and the local candidates out there, and I am running so that I can be that bridge to help coordinate the activities of our volunteers so they can be more involved.  We also need to start developing a stronger farm team, so that we can have a buffet of candidates out there ready at any time, and we need to start helping those candidates in office push our party’s agenda.
Here are three things I want to work on to help improve our party:

1)      Improve the way we do Marketing and Fundraising, by embracing new technologies, improving communication with monthly e-newsletters, and hosting more forums around the district.  This will help get more money for the campaigns, get our message out there, and get information out there to those who want to help find a more efficient way of plugging into the party.

2)      Improve the ability of the grassroots to be involved at the BPOU Senate District and at the Congressional levels, by actively visiting and providing training opportunities at the Local BPOUs, as well as better advertisement of all active committees, and how people can get involved with them, to where we can better utilize their talents and they in return are able to contribute in meaningful ways.

3)      Improve our Candidate base by providing workshops for current local elected officials, such as Council members, Mayors, and School Board Members, so that they can use each other as resources, and from here we can start building our farm team, establish leadership training, and showcasing in a monthly newsletter what our local elected officials are doing out there in the field.  This will also help new elected officials pick the brains of more experienced officials, so that we can push our agenda faster statewide, and have more successful candidates and officials. But in reality I can not do this alone, and this will be a grassroots effort to bring our party back to principles and winning elections with greater margins.  Please attend this Saturday and vote for our Liberty Candidates.

Thank you,
