Aki’s is a popular spot in NE Mpls for excellent German-style baked goods and brewed coffee. The Curioso Coffee Bar next door also serves espresso, lattes, etc. which you can easily bring back to the Aki's seating area.
Seating at Aki's will be fine for a smaller group. If we have a larger turn-out, we can easily move across the hall to a bigger table at the Curioso Coffee Bar.
Directions:
Aki’s BreadHaus is about 4 blocks north of the old Grain Belt Brewery at Broadway Ave. and Marshall St. (aka East River Rd. or Great River Rd.) It's also just south of the old Psycho Suzi's bar. On-street parking is along Marshall St. on either side of the street. There is also parking behind the building, though it's seldom needed.
