Another point mentioned is the 13th (or 1st) boot module, which fails to load:

//cd9660/cd9660.kmod

It fails to load on my working systems too.

While you're correct, the failure to load //cd9660/cd9660.kmod has
nothing to do with his vbox problem. It indeed also fails on real
hardware (maybe eivanov or antoine can shed a light here?), but it
doesn't lead to real problems.

n00b982 is facing the issue that vbox doesn't properly emulate some
features of the CPU which Minix relies on. The workaround is documented
at http://wiki.minix3.org/en/UsersGuide/RunningMinixOnVirtualBox#Workarounds

Hi Thomas,

Yes, I agree that the module message is only a warning and is not n00b982's main issue (hardware virtualization support). It's just something I'd like fixed, when possible.

No idea and currently away from any -current snapshot at the moment, so
it won't be my light, sorry. Evgeniy?
