Hi all!!!

I have installed and runned those Linux distros, Redhat 5, Redhat 5,2, Redhat 6.2, Slackware 2.3, Slackware 3.6, Zipslack 3.6, Zipslack 7.1. And this has happend, first does the X-server crash, then does Linux hang at Boot up sequenze. And I am really teired of runnig Linux.

Since I downloaded the Minix 3 ISO file and installed it in a computer, it feels very fine. I have done some real things i Minix, I don't have any X11 in my Minix computer. I run it in terminal mode. But I have found software to run i termenal mode, I have now configured my Minix computer. I just don't have any netcard to put in my Minix computer, but it doesn't matter. Minix 3 is the best to run in a PC, I preffer Minix and shall not run any more Linux. There is just Minix 3 who rocks for me, Minix 3 has all I need to do what I want to do.

Hi!!!

I have used Linux before, but since I did got Minix 3.2.1 am I very happy. Even if I don't got any IT connection, I have wrote some HTML pages and put them in /home/html and use Links web browser to watch those pages. And I don't have any X11 aka XWindows, I run my Minix 3 in console mode. I have even moved my harddrive with Minix installation at, to another computer. That can't you do with Linux. And I know now this, Linux did came from Minix 386, it was from that version of Minix Linus T did make Linux. But no more Linux for me, I like Minix 3 cause I can do what I want to do in that operating system.

All you need to get Minix, go to www.minix3.org and download that ISO file, burn it on an CD. Then take a computer who you don't need, and boot on that CD then login as root and run setup so are the installation going. Easier can it don't be, you don't need those boot disks to install Minix 3. As if you should install Linux, then you need some boot disks...

Hi!!!

I did move my Minix 3 harddrive to another computer, and it works very fine, that can't you do with Linux. I have very much knowledge about Linux, I did my first Linux installation in 1995.

But now will I only run Minix 3, it is far better than Linux.

I have been a beta tester before and I'm testing OS and software at home so othen I can.
