Hi!!!
I have downloaded uemacs from ftp minix org homepage, and it works very fine. A good text editor, I have tested it and the commands are same as them in Linux or Cygwin/X. Emacs are under GNU policy, and that is good it has come for Minix. I welcome that editor and hope it will stay in Minix, I have it installed but it didn't worked with pkgin, so I did gunzip the file then tar -xvf it and after that did it work. I'm so happy that Emacs has come to Minix 3, and it works in console mode. Just write with the prompt uemacs filename, and write what you want. Ctrl + x and Ctrl + s for save, and Ctrl + x and Ctrl + c for exit uemacs. I have found just another editor to use, it just fine.
