where is /usr/src/?

 Is /usr/src supposed to be included in MINIX 3.3.0 installation, or do I need to fetch the full source tree separately? What is the recommended setup for Tanenbaum book exercises?

For 3.3.0, you could download the tagged release using curl from github here:

https://github.com/Stichting-MINIX-Research-Foundation/minix/archive/refs/tags/v3.3.0.tar.gz

The version that came on CD with the book is version 3.1.0.  A lot changed between those versions, so if you use version 3.3.0, it won't match the code listings from the book.
