What's a good editor to use in minix3?

I have been using vi, but other than a very basic editor, it's not useful.
The standard /w mechanism does not work to search for a pattern in a file.

Actually the pattern search and other things do work in vi and vim. I had something misconfigured. Pls ignore the email below.

Try nedit. This is notepad-style text editor for X.
