I looked into this and there is something fishy about the binary vim package on the 3.2.1 CD. It leaves my FreeBSD Xterm in a slightly unsane state on exit. This does not happen with a vim compiled from pkgsrc.

Did you give compiling from pkgsrc a try?

Hi all!!!

I am so stuck of vim, cause I wrote a text file in vim. 2 lines, saved it. And should later edit this text file, add an new line between those 2 lines. But it didn't worked out, vim freaked out and I quited it from vim and edited the file in NANO editor. VI or mined or nano are the best text editors or script editors I can inform about. I shall not use vim in my Minix 3 computer, I use other editors instead.

Hi!!!

No I used pkgin in vim, and nothing else. And that was from the Minix 3.2.1 CD, it was already compiled on that cd. But it was tgz packed, and I installed it. But I shall not use vim anymore.
