loading MINIX on a libreboot payload

Has anyone had a luck on loading MINIX with libreboot? I am using a Librebooted Thinkpad x200, and each time I try to chainload the kernel it only resets the machine, I think I need to chainload the kernel and the modules (mod01-mod12) in /boot/minix_default/, but I have no idea how to chainload the entire directory.
