minix3 with kvm, linux, Q35 ROM, BIOS-Mode?

Hi!

Did anyone manage to boot and install minix3 (3.4.0rc6) inside qemu-x86_64 with Q35 ROM in BIOS-Mode or even better UEFI-Mode?

It boots in BIOS-Mode, but then does not find the emulated sata or scsi cdrom. Any way to install and run it? Maybe even creating necessary partitions and installing further needed stuff manually, but later running from hd in virtio, sata or scsi-mode.

Minix unfortunately does not have SATA support. Instead you'll have to emulate IDE drives for it to boot. Also, I very much doubt Minix has anything in the form of UEFI support, but you might be able to get a bootloader that works with UEFI to load Minix instead.
