Hi everyone,

I’ve encountered an issue with my miniscope. The videos are consistently unstable, and it doesn’t appear to be related to the miniscope being attached to a mouse.

Even when I record without a mouse, there’s noticeable movement inside the miniscope.

I’ve attached a sample video for reference. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue and how it can be resolved?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Ella

It seems that the image sensor has become unglued from the plastic emission module. Could you upload a few pictures of your Miniscope to confirm?

Thank you

Federico

Hi Federico,

just resending the solution so everyone can see

Yes, this part somehow became unglued, but I reapplied Norland Optical Adhesive, and that fixed it!

I found the explanation in the Miniscope Assembly video very helpful. At minute 29, it demonstrates how to glue it properly:

Thank you for the guidance!
