Hey all!

I'm reaching out to ask for your opinion/help. I posted this issue on Minian GitHub a few days ago: https://github.com/denisecailab/minian/issues/251

The thing is that I am trying to run Minian on my Miniscope videos, I do not get to display videos and get a frozen frame instead. I am confused.

It used to work. But I got some horizontal scan lines on my recordings and I tried the Jupyter Notebook shown here https://groups.google.com/g/miniscope/c/QTcACTTiD-E

I made the mistake of running it in my Minian environment and updated some packages which caused Minian to stop working. I decided to reinstall it and now I have this problem in my video viewing function. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the installation, minian, holoviews, bokeh, etc. But I need minian to get my calcium traces and for now, check that the denoising notebook is working on my videos.

I am using a MacOS M1 with arm64 architecture, but have a miniconda installed for intelx86 since minian is not available for arm64 devices yet.

Perhaps it's something stupid, but I would appreciate any help because I am wasting a lot of time and need to know if I can reduce noise from my videos and thus get some signals.

THANKS!!!!

Anna

Issue solved on https://github.com/denisecailab/minian/issues/251
I downgraded pyviz_comms==2.0.2 and solved the problem.
