GRIN lenses for rats

Hello,

My name is Julieta, and I´m a Phd student of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina.

I am planning to image CA1 using the miniscope V4 in Wistar rats and i have doubts about the type of GRIN lens that i have to use.

I am thinking of buying the 1-mm-wide, 9-mm-long GRIN lens from Inscopix but I am not sure about the optimal long of the lens to use in rats. What do you think?
