Those who have got these kinds of view...

I am currently working rat CA1 imaging.
But from some of my rats, I saw views like this: a vast number of black dots.

My aspiration's depth was tested, and everything was fine.

Is there a blood clotting issue or a shallow aspiration issue..?

I need for your help!

Many thanks

Hi, To me this looks very much like blood clotting covering the bottom of the GRIN lens. Try waiting a week or two more for this to potentially clear up.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for the information!
Would it be better if dexamethasone was given in addition at a dose of 2 mg/kg every day for a week?
One of my concerns is that after I administered 0.6 mg/kg of dexamethasone immediately following lens implant surgery for a week, I noticed weight loss in my rats.

Is it a wise decision?

Thank you again!
Myeongjong
