Software GUI confuses webcam with miniscope display

Dear miniscope comunity,

I've just starting to work with a miniscope V4, and I had a few difficulties in making it work. The problem I'm facing right now is that the miniscope GUI confuses what it should display: instead of displaying an image of the miniscope camera in the GUI, it is displaying a video taken by the webcam of my laptop (see the attached file). As you may notice, the software is correctly recognizing the miniscope (green text in the control panel), but what it displays for me to work with is my webcam signal. I'm trying to figure that out, but so far all my attempts did not work. Did any of you had a similar problem before? 

Things I did: 

1.1) I downloaded the old file: "Miniscope-DAQ-Software_build_v1_11" from github and also the newest version "Miniscope-DAQ-QT-Software-master", so that I overwrote the old files with the newest ones. 

1.2) To open the miniscope GUI I run the ".exe" extension file from the old package, and not the ".pro" extension file from the new package. I couldn't read ".pro" extension file in a freeware manner (I found out on the internet that people can use QT platform, but it is not free. Maybe that could be the reason why it is not working. How did you do?

Things I've tried:

2.1) I've tried to use different Config files, but this example one (V4_BNO_miniscope) was the best so far (less error msgs);

2.2) I've been trying to find a path that within the code to redirect the DAQ to read  and display the right video to the GUI, but this is taking a bit of time (I'm not finding it).

Note: my DAQ has 3 LEDs on, seems to be ok...

Hello Ciao. The zip folder under the name " Miniscope-DAQ-Software_build_v1_11.zip" found on our Github repository is the latest version of our software to control Miniscopes and behavior webcams. If you Miniscope window displays your webcam the issue is that you have the deviceID of your imaging devices wrong. Inspecting the userConfig file you will find, at almost the bottom, the description of each imaging device. What you need to do is change the deviceID to the one that matches your computer as highlighted below. The enumeration starts at 0.
