Color CMOS sensor

Hi,I want to get a color image with miniscope v4. Is it possible to get a color image if I replace the CMOS sensor with the color version (NOIP1SF0480A)?
If that is possible, is there anything I should be aware of?

Hi,

Yes this should be totally possible. You will just need to:

1. Swap out the monochrome PYTHON480 for a color version of it
2. Create a new entry in the videoDevices.json file within the "deviceConfig" folder with the "isColor" key set to "true". You basically can just copy the entire "Miniscope_V4_BNO" entry, rename it, and change the "isColor" value.
