I am currently conducting experiments using Miniscope V4, with a DAQ from Labmaker and the commutator from OpenEphys. However, I am encountering an issue where neither Bonsai nor the Miniscope software is able to recognize my Miniscope camera properly. Before facing this problem, I had successfully recorded data several times without issues, but now I am suddenly experiencing this problem.
Here’s the situation: after connecting everything normally, the signal indicator lights on both the DAQ and the Miniscope camera are on (see Figure 1). However, in Device Manager, the camera is not recognized correctly and instead is identified as "Westbridge" (see Figure 2). Additionally, in the software, I often see errors such as "retrieve frame failed" or "buffer full."
I reviewed previous conversations and tried various solutions such as restarting the computer, uninstalling antivirus software, checking the connections, and using a USB 3.0 port, but none of these have worked. I also came across an email suggesting that I download the Cypress driver and re-upload the firmware. I have already downloaded the Cypress driver, but I am unsure about how to proceed with re-uploading the firmware. Could you please confirm if this method works for resolving similar issues?
Best regards,
Mengxi
