can't acquire images from the Minicam.

Hi, I'm having trouble getting my Minicam to acquire frames through my DAQ v3.3.

DAQ Software v1.11
DAQ power + scope power lights are always on, data-link light comes on fine when plugging in
Tried multiple cables/cameras, same result
Windows sees it correctly as "Miniscope" but the preview is a blank grey square
Only the laptop's built-in webcam shows up as a Device ID option in the software
