Hi,

I am implanting 0.5mm GRIN lenses. In the past, we used V3 Miniscopes, and when I imaged an animal, the lens filled the entire field of view, I saw in the software. We have recently changed to V4 Miniscopes, and if I use the same lenses, the lens looks much smaller (about a quarter of the image I get). I am assuming this is due to a change in field of view size?

Is it possible to increase the number of pixels of the recorded video/ROI?

Thank you for your help!

Hello Vicky. Can you share a screenshot or a short recording of your FOV?

Thank you

Federico

Hi Victoria,

I only use Miniscope V4.4, but the GRIN lenses are 1.0mm and 0.5mm.
Thus I also noticed that the ROI size decreases according to lens size.

If I'm not mistaken, the number of ROI pixels cannot be changed.
Nonetheless the ROI can be cut out during recording and post-processing applying the Bonsai open-source software.

Let me know if you would like to see the Bonsai pipeline.

Best,

Erik
