Hi everyone, as the title says if i try to record something with my minicam it splits the recording in videos of maximum 16 seconds, I tried let the recording lenght in 0 so it only stops manually or setting a longer time like 3 minutes (I'll actually need 10 minutes but was trying) and in both cases my folder has a lot of mini videos
anyone had this happend to them before?
thanks to all

Hi,
Have you tried this with the newer version of our DAQ software (https://miniscope.org/wiki/Launch_of_Miniscope_DAQ_Software_v2)? The default is for the software to save individual files with 1000 frames each. If your MiniCam is running at ~60 FPS, that would result in a file made every ~16 seconds. If you increase the config file's field for number of frames per video file, it should have the effect you are looking for.

Hi Daniel, yes I was using the v2 of the software, it was indeed the default setting, I config the files to say 30k frames and I could save a video longer, the only "issue" was that I pressed stop at the 1 minute mark and the resulting video was 47 seconds
thank you so much
