Hi everyone,

I have some questions for the community:

1) Has anyone used GRIN lenses with WD=0 mm (specifically Thorlabs G1P13) with the V4 miniscope (open ephys)? I'm trying to understand the practical implications, particularly whether the gap between the miniscope and the lens needs to be adjusted to ~750µm instead of the standard ~950µm to account for the image being reformed at the lens surface rather than 200µm above it.

2) Has anyone tried the AAV-eluting polymer coating approach for GRIN lenses (Jons et al., Macromolecular Bioscience 2024) in their lab? I'm particularly curious whether it works with GCamp8m, and whether anyone has tested it in cortical regions in rats.

Any experience or thoughts appreciated!

Thanks
