Issue regarding V4 and Minicam

Dear,

I would first thank you for the wonderfull opensource Miniscope project.

I am actually trying to set up V4 miniscope and Minicam, both connected on same DAQ, but I get no image in Minicam.

It seems that Miniscope software is recognizing the minicam, but with no image and no possibility to manipulate calibration.

Before, I was using V4 and webcam, and sometimes webcam was only at very low FPS (7 for example).

Did you get any idea?

Hello Alexis. You can't connect the v4 Miniscope and the miniCAM to the same DAQ. Each device needs its own DAQ. You also need to use a user configuration file that loads both devices. I attached mine as an example.

Did Minicam could work in paralell with V4 miniscope using miniDAQ for the minicam?

Hello Alexis. In order to use the miniCAM in parallel with the Miniscope you need a DAQ for each device. Then, on the software you have to add both devices to your user configuration file. When you run the software both video streams will be visible.

How can I increase the FPS in the Minicam? I've already changed the binary values for the rows, columns and shutter in the videoDevices.json but there's no image. Can you help me?
