Hello!
I am using the pre-assembled v4 miniscope with the standard lens configuration (two 6mm focal length lenses), but I'm wondering if anybody has used one or two 4.5mm focal length lenses to increase the spatial resolution of the v4 miniscope?
I'm gearing up to build a miniscope on my own and would be interested in trying out the 4.5mm FL lenses if others have had success with it. Thank you!
Best,
Josue

We recently swapped the standard lenses with two 4.5mm lenses. While there may be a small increase in magnification, we have trouble focusing past the the thickness of a #1 coverslip. We're still interested in increasing the magnification but currently don't view two 4.5mm lenses as a solution due to limited focal distance. I'm curious, has anyone had success increasing magnification?
