Minisail for sale  (although it could be a Minisprint, as it has some extra racing rigging that I don't think was on the original Minisail).

Actually there are two hulls, two masts and two booms, so you can choose the best or take them both - the choice is yours!

  • Sail in excellent condition (was replaced but hardly ever used, so in virtually brand new condition)
  • Mast (two section) and boom
  • Wooden rudder and wooden centreboard
  • Self bailer, rigging and ropes
  • Length = 3.96 metres
  • Beam = 1.11 metres
  • Weight = 55 kg approx
Both hulls have been stored outside for a number of years. Both have had some repairs to the fibre glass (see photo of one repair to centreboard housing) and need some more work to make them water tight. Both boats are located in Bournemouth and will need collection. There is no trailer.
Advertised on ebay - see attached link. More photos available upon request.

Only 60 miles from me, just could not resist so I bought it.

I am fascinated to see the mods, should make a great experimental boat.

I now have 3 complete boats so will be selling my other MK II – yellow hull, club sail No 7.

I may also sell it with the topper rudder or may swap rudders with the “new” one.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for letting us know  about  the  MInisails, There are a few around still and probably more awaiting discovery. A low cost way into fun sailing with the opportunity to upgrade foils and rigging
without getting too technical. There is quite a lot of information on the site.
I have 3 already, so am not able to take on more at present, unless I quickly dispose of the second fibreglass one I have done up ( the wood decked one I built 35 years ago is awaiting rebuilding ).
However I would be happy to hear of the  new owners if they want to keep in touch and require any information or even want to attend an event if we get round to holding one down here or just join the
others locally for a fun sail at some point somewhere like Christchurch Harbour.
My email is tbm...@talktalk.net, mobile 07775 95  57 59.
Best Wishes,
Tom Moore Southampton

I have just advertised my MkII Monaco for sale having just collected the red one I bought.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181170029701

The Red one requires some work, the paint will have to be stripped. The hole where the extra mast went I have converted into a hatch. The area around the extra mast has been strengthened but this will require tidying up.

I will post some pictures as I go.
