Green led purpose?

Hi,

Any ideas what is the purpose of the green led? I noticed it lights approximately every loop cycle. No idea if this is intentional or else.

The controllable led is amber and seems to be on pin 16, the green one confused me at first and I thought I did something wrong in the sketch as it wouldn't light for a full second but only momentarily.

I see the green led flashing while uploading compiled code to the minion. 

I am not sure if the schematics are available, and if so, where they are posted.  Hopefully some sort of documentation will be made available soon.
