The RF12 library referenced in the "First Wireless Program" post on the Minion City site (http://www.minioncity.com/2012/09/21/first-wireless-program/) can be found on GitLab:

I used the library and was able to connect a Minion to an existing wireless sensor network with no problems.  It was almost unnerving how easy it was to do.

I've used the RF12Demo from the jeelib and it works nicely between my two minions. Now I need to get some sensors to hook them and start playing for real.

It's my first time with a microcontroller and so far it looks very easy :-)

Minions + JeeLib code certainly make a good combination.  Once you start working with sensors things might get a bit harder, but at the same time, even more fun.
