Hey Guys,

I just revived my minions and am in the middle of assembling the battery shields. Quick question the 10k Ohm resistors I got with them seem to be too large(see picture). I have smaller resistors which fit perfect as seen in the picture. Is there any disadvantages in using the smaller resistor or should I be okay using it?

Cheers,
Dan

I had the same issue; my shields were shipped with 1/2 watt resistors which were too large for the board, so I used 1/4 10kohm resistors instead.  Simple Ohm's law arithmetic leads me to the assumption that 1/4 watt is more than sufficient but perhaps the Minion folks could chime in on this issue.

Just about to build my battery shield - well, tomorrow now. Same question here. Can't see how the smaller 1/4W resistor won't do it. It's a pull-up so...
