Hey!

At the end of the year, there are multiple awards given out to various students for their achievements in college, the details of which are given below. There are very few applicants for the same every year, and this leads to people being selected by the professors rather than by application. Listed below are the awards.

• Applications are invited from the outgoing final year B.Tech Civil Engg., students for the award of “Major Mohan  Gangadharan Shourya Chakra Scholarship” for the best outgoing B.Tech Civil Engg., student. Interested students are required to submit their credentials in neatly typed form to the office of the undersigned on or before 12th April 2012.

• Applications are invited from the Second  Year B.Tech. students of the Institute who have secured grade points of 7 or above for the award of scholarship  by “Mahila Samithi, KIOCL, Kudremukh” to 3 poor students. The amount will be adjusted towards their mess bill or Institute fees. Interested students are required to submit their credentials in neatly typed form to the office of the undersigned on or before 12th April 2012.     
• Applications are invited from the out going B.Tech students (VIII sem) for consideration for the award of the following prizes, so as to reach the Dean (Students Welfare)  on or  before  12th April 2012.
• “Teekays Award for Best Out going student of NITK”
• “Vivek S. Music Award To Best Talented Student in Music”

There are more awards in the offing. I kindly request you all to apply. Applications can be given in A4 size sheet, with font Times New Roman Size 12 and Spacing 1.5. Margins are 1.5'' top and left, and 1'' bottom and right.
