Fwd: Smriti 2012
SATYA
It has been 1342 days since we started our journey, 1342 days of highs and
lows, of joys and sorrows and of trials and tribulations. Be it the mess
food, the club events, the ragging, the party freshers, the treats and
farewells, the trips and treks to various places, midnight jaunts to NC,
night outs slogging, gaming or just for the heck of it, Sai B, Suraj and
Sadanand, it has been an experience that has changed our lives forever. We
came in here eager to study and learn. We may not have studied but we sure
have learnt a lot. There is a fresh and bright new start ahead of us, but
also a trail of memories left behind us. It would not be justice to forget
these memories and let them be. It would not be justice to let the past be
the past and move on. Even the people who just want to get out of here will
have something, just one thing that they would like to hold onto from here.
It might be friendship, it might their experience in their classes or it
might be the joy of an independent life in a home away from home.
To honour and to cherish these memories, so many in number but each one so
unique and important, we are bringing out the yearbook Smriti 2012. This
book will be distributed on the day of the Ring Ceremony for the Batch of
2012, which is the 26th of April. To make this book worthwhile will need
the efforts of all the students. If you have any photograph that you would
like to be published, please do share them with us. If you would like to
write a testimonial to your friend, please do write them on the Smriti
website, which will be released shortly.
Also planned is a Batch of 2012 hooded sweatshirt (hoodie), which can be
registered for in this link. -

The design is attached and pasted here. The amount will be deducted from
the Mess Bill for the Hostelites and will have to be paid in cash by the
Day Scholars. The amount has not been decided yet.
