Hi Ramon, and hi everyone :)

I set my hosts and station's IPv6 addresses successfully. I checked their allocation result by "ifconfig". I give my sta1's address as "1234:1234:1234::101:101:101:101" and my h1's address as "1218:1234:1234::202:202:202:202".

But I have a problem when I do "ping 1218:1234:1234::202:202:202:202" in 'xterm sta1'. In wireshark capturing sta1-wlan0, even ICMPv6 message(finding for that ipv6) is not captured. Nothing is sent from sta1-wlan0, even when I ping to the right address.
And it returns "address unreachable" error.

I know, it could not be a mininet-wifi issue. But I gave them ipv6 addresses well, and set default gateway correctly.
But I don't know how to resolve this trouble further more.

I need to learn a lot.. Thanks for helping all the time.

From HH

Dear,

Could you please let us know how did you configure ip forwarding as well as ip route?

This is my ip route table.
I could find that route table has "linkdown" problem.

So, I tried to "link sta1 ap1 up", referencing this page, But it can't ping.
How can I solve this 'linkdown' problem?

thank you.

I'm really sorry to bother you so much, Ramon.
It is really important to finish our research, but I don't know how to resolve this struggle!!
And I always thank you. Please help me :)

I have a same problem with hhkr.
I draw and write something down to help you understand our problem.

h1 has 1218:1234:1234::101:101:101:101 and
sta1 has 1234:1234:1234::101:101:101:101. I double checked their allocation result in xterm.

But when h1 ping sta1 using ipv6 address, sta1 never send back NA.
And when sta1 ping h1, sta1 never send anything.
(It is fine when we use Ipv4 address, only Ipv6 address makes us crazy)

This picture is wireshark capturing from sta1-wlan0.
We can see that NS is coming but no NA is going out.

Thanks for reading and helping all the time.
I really appreciate it.
